Did you know you will be laboring alone 75% of your time in the hospital? The only people who will be constant support are the people you bring with you. The nurses do not have time to assist with positioning, breathing, or other comfort measures.
Our Birth Doulas will:
Be there throughout your entire pregnancy…we are here to answer all your “Is this normal?” questions.
Assist you with designing your perfect birth plan whether planning a hospital or homebirth…backup plans are also talked about including a Cesarean plan.
Support you and your partner through your entire labor…from assistive devices (birth ball, peanut ball, rebozo) to interventions (epidurals, narcotics, nitrous), we’ll give you the information so you can make an informed decision…no matter how you birth (vaginal or Cesarean).
Help with initial feeding (whether breast, chest or bottle) and bonding.
Visit you in the early postpartum period…we know becoming a parent (whether your first or fifth) comes with changes, so we want to be sure you’re handling those changes physically, emotionally, and mentally
Offer evidence-based information to EMPOWER you to make your birth YOUR way
Our Standard Birth Doula Package Includes:
Two Doulas who will support your through EVERYTHING!…yay for “Built-In Back-up” (we are THE ONLY doula agency in Dauphin County who provides you 2 doulas for the price of 1)
Support 24/7 via email, text, & phone throughout pregnancy
Check-In at 20-weeks via Zoom
Check-In at 30-weeks via Zoom
Prenatal Visit around 36 weeks in-person (or if client prefers via Zoom)
Personalized visual Vaginal & Cesarean visual birth plans
Continuous labor support through up to 2 hours after birth
Postpartum Visit within 2 weeks of birth
Text or email support through the first year of breastfeeding
